Beijing DBSEC Technology Co., Ltd, (DBSEC) was founded on 2 March 2009 by professionals who have long been dedicated to data processing and information security. It is a professional data security product and solution provider in China that focuses exclusively on the data security industry. DBSEC is the only organization in China that can offer a comprehensive line of products and solutions for database security that acts as the basis of its introduction of the first "data security governance" framework in China, providing comprehensive security approaches and programs covering personnel organization, security strategy, process development and technical support. As an independent third-party Cloud Data Security Provider (CDSP), DBSEC offers professional data security protection for users of major domestic and international cloud platforms. DBSEC is also the exclusive strategic partner of Alibaba Cloud, China’s largest public cloud platform, in cloud data security.

DBSEC has established a number of benchmarking cases in the government, finance, social security, energy, military, operator, education, medical, and other industries, building a solid enterprise reputation and becoming the top choice for numerous channel partners and end users in the field of data security and protection.
In 2014, DBSEC completed Series A strategic financing with investors from leading companies in the national information security industry and NSFOCUS. In 2016, the company entered Series B strategic financing from well-known Internet giants and China's top ranked 2B investment company. In 2018, DBSEC obtained nearly 100 million yuan for Series C strategic financing from Delian Capital.
